FUTURE

After exploring the shadows of the APOCALYPSE, we now turn our gaze forward. Vast, uncertain, and full of both fear and fascination, the future becomes our collective terrain. With this edition, we invited artists, makers, writers, and thinkers to use creativity as a time machine. The future may always feel one step ahead — but imagination brings it closer. What will we wear? What will jewelry become? Will A.I. change how we create, connect, survive? As always, our four focus areas — environment, human rights, society, and the jewelry industry — provided a loose framework. The responses ranged from utopian to dystopian, bold to deeply personal. Published in 2024 and launched at Munich Jewellery Week, this edition gathers global voices asking: What if? What next? What now? We invite you to explore their visions — and perhaps begin to shape your own.
