A RING - METAL RESEARCH PROJECT

Future Statment

My artistic journey does not follow the conventional path. For me, the future isn't an abstract concept; it's an intrinsic part of my creative existence. Time doesn't flow in a linear fashion within my creative context. I've come to realize that I've been living in the future all along, transcending the constraints of chronological time. This realization shapes the heart of my work. "A RING" is not just a virtual jewelry collection; it's the inaugural installment in my ambitious "METAL RESEARCH PROJECT." It's a journey that delves deep into the electroplating process, an essential facet of the metal manufacturing industry. This project is not a simple exercise in aesthetics but a profound meditation on materiality. It challenges our perceptions, asking fundamental questions such as: Is a golden ring truly a gold ring? How many diverse materials can be concealed within a silver ring? And then there are the enigmatic black rings, which urge us to ponder the very essence of colors and materials. The idea for this virtual jewelry collection found its natural home within the virtual gallery I've been developing over the past year. It's not merely a virtual display of tangible art but a multidimensional journey into the intersection of reality and the digital realm. The choice to place these virtual rings within Earth's core is not arbitrary but deeply symbolic. The Earth's core, while physically existing, remains visually elusive. Placing our imaginative creations here takes the concept of exhibition to a new dimension. It challenges the limitations of physical galleries and propels us into the imaginative realm where reality and virtuality coalesce. The development of "A RING" doesn't represent a distant dream but a current reality. The blend of materials, colors, and the virtual realm in this project propels art into an ever-evolving dimension, where time, imagination, and creativity know no bounds. It's an emblem of the future, not as a far-off destination but as a dynamic journey we are already undertaking. It's not about imagining the world but about actively participating in redefining the creative process and flow. It's about reinventing the art of exhibition. It's an invitation to shift the paradigm of creativity, to explore uncharted territories, and to reimagine how art interacts with its audience. I do not possess interest in imagining the future; I care more about living the future now.
